Commission for ~Firenhall.

I finished this piece a couple of months ago but couldn't show it until now. It's one particular scene of a fantasy story. I had some technical constraints, such as the general composition, and it also involved characters, which are not exactly my specialty. Each character has his own alter ego in the form of an animal, similar to what happens in the Golden Compass series.

Painting this was challenging because there's so much going on, and I had to make a coherent image with many different elements. It also involved a lot of detail. It was fun, but I'm kind of glad it's done

That is one turbulent sea

This I could tell had a lot going on in it even from the thumbnail, it certainly warranted a look

Wow, great work!
There's so many details, but everything sort of comes together to tell the story. The way you drew the waves and burning ships looks very realistic
